Pentland ponies is a part share scheme at the foot of the Pentland Hills in Edinburgh. We offer riders the opportunity to experience what it's like to own your own horse without all the commitment and expense of horse ownership while being more hands on than lessons.

We have a variety of horses and ponies to suit most riders and all ages are welcome to share with us. A horse share with us is ideal if you want the opportunity to spend time getting to know the horse, grooming, tacking up, stable management or if you just want to potter about the Pentlands and surrounding trails on horseback. We also have some non ridden opportunities for people who maybe can't ride anymore but would still like to be around horses.
